I am a writer, blogger and host living in Los Angeles, CA with my husband Brian and French Bulldog Frank.
I started this blog in 2011 on the eve of my 29th birthday because I was feeling frustrated with the state of my life. In an inspired moment I compiled a list of 10 goals to accomplish in the 365 days leading up to my 30th birthday. Goals that I thought would bring me closer to the life I wanted-- and with that, 365 til 30 was born. That year was an incredible journey and truly changed my life. Since then, the blog has grown to include everything that happens after turning 30.
My professional website can be found here.

Great shots! My favorite it Frank pouting by the door with his leash on. Cholula does that, too- like, “Can’t you go any faster??”
It’s so weird when the baby chooses a side of the belly, right? Even weirder when he decides to shift to the other side. Whoa.
Your baby MIGHT have more clothes than I do. Someone gave me the advice (which I ignored) to only wash half of the newborn stuff in case you have a big baby and he grows out of them too fast. I just packed away lots of newborn clothes for my 6 week old that no longer fit and some were only worn once, so just something to keep in mind! Be sure to have plenty of size 0-3 months ready to go. Same for diapers! xxx
Lol the Frank vs Sophie saga continues…
Loving these photos. 1) You looked so beautiful at your shower 🙂 2) That rice soup looks amazing! 3) Doggie pants = adorable 4) The blooms at the flower market were beautiful. I just love spring flowers!
I’m not sure what’s cuter, the doggy pants or the little tiny diaper!!! Or YOU! Ok it’s all a tie.
Smart idea to have the guys “practice” with a real baby. Nice that you were able to get up to SF!
Loving all the shots! It’s fun to see what’s been going on. Such a sweet and exciting time!
Your Frenchie is so cute. And then your babe is so cute. And then you put them together! ALL the love.
