1- Frankie hoarding tennis balls at the dog park. The other dogs don’t stand a chance against Frank.
2 – Friday night cooking. Nothing says summer like rose wine and heirloom tomatoes
3 – Dining outdoors for the first time this season
4 – Saturday morning Brian and I decided to walk to Abbott Kinney for brunch with Frankie.
5 – Frank made the long walk to Abbott Kinney but tired out on the way home and had to be carried
6 – It was very good arm exercise for Brian though
7 – Brian gardened Saturday afternoon. It’s his absolute favorite thing to do in the summer
8 – Our new go-to Sunday morning breakfast…onion, mushroom, zucchini scramble
I love summer!! Also. Rose? What happened to my Kate?! MUAH
Oh these dogs are soooooo cool. A friend of mine has two of them. They are so damn smart! French bulldogs right?
Yes, he’s a Frenhie! I’m pretty in love with him! Some would even say obsessed:)
Some obsessions are very healthy in my book! Enjoy every minute. I lost my dog last year and I miss him every day… When I’m ready, I think I’ll adopt an English bulldog… Their breathing freaks me out, but they are so smart. A classic dog! I love all bulldogs!
So sorry for your loss. It’s amazing how much dogs become our family. ps..I am a fan of all bulldogs as well!
Oh my gosh, that’s so cute and a little sad that he got too tired to walk back! That never happened with my bichon when he was young, it seemed like he could go all day without getting tired (only would we realize at night how exhausted he was when he plunked down in his bed and wouldn’t move). Nowadays, I keep the walks shorter since he is very old and with summer here I don’t need him passing out on me.
I should have known better! Frenchies aren’t great in the heat or for long walks. Serves us right. Totally agree with you about your pup…no passing out on you! xo
That breakfast scramble sounds great! Also- Frank is adorable! I love to see pictures of him 🙂 Such a little man!
