Happy Valentines day everyone!! The holiday is feeling pretty sweet over here because it’s our first as husband and wife. We are going to keep it relatively quiet though and make skirt steaks, drink champagne and watch “House Of Cards” on netfilx. Do any of you watch that show? It’s so good and today is the first day season two was released. Pretttty exciting Valentines day over here. How are you guys celebrating? xo Kate

Happy Valentine’s Day! I love House of Cards! I can’t wait to start watching season 2 on Monday! This Valentine’s Day, my husband, our 7 year old daughter, and I, are on our way to Tampa for the weekend. We have loved in Florida for about 1 1/2 years and have never been to Tampa so we decided that since my husband daughter have a 4 day weekend (he is a teacher at her school and I work from home), we would take a mini trip and explore something new!! I remember the days when my husband and I could just be alone on Valentine’s Day and I miss it but I love celebrating with my daughter too! Have a great weekend!
that sounds like a pretty perfect evening!! I’m still in single hood so I’m sending my night with some other single girls! we’re going to go bar hopping downtown even though its -8 here in Canada! never been the type to sit at home and complain about being alone…instead we gotta embrace it and make plans with good friends…and some vodka on the side too!
