We’ve officially been parents for one week and it has been an exhausting but insanely fun few days. Leading up to getting Frank I was worried that maybe he wouldn’t live up to all the hype I had created in my mind about him. I mean, how could he, right? I’ve been obsessed with an imaginary French Bulldog named Frank for the last three years. Thankfully he is even more fabulous than I imagined. He’s constantly making me laugh, well, except when he shits next to my bed. I mean, what an asshole, right? Despite that, I’m still madly in love with him. I actually miss him when he sleeps. True story. He has a million nicknames already…Frankie, Frankster, Frankles, Smoosh, The Franknater, nugget. I mostly call him smoosh though. It suits him.

I am a writer, blogger and host living in Los Angeles, CA with my husband Brian and French Bulldog Frank.
I started this blog in 2011 on the eve of my 29th birthday because I was feeling frustrated with the state of my life. In an inspired moment I compiled a list of 10 goals to accomplish in the 365 days leading up to my 30th birthday. Goals that I thought would bring me closer to the life I wanted-- and with that, 365 til 30 was born. That year was an incredible journey and truly changed my life. Since then, the blog has grown to include everything that happens after turning 30.
My professional website can be found here.

That family picture is the SWEETEST!
Awe how precious…cherish him for he is more human than you will ever know…embrace him and love him…thanks for the smile. I’ve recently lost my two babies, Kimba last November and Jolie Bijou on New Years night…my heart can never be repaired as I have never loved or been so connected with any other like my two babies…you can search my archives if you’d like to read about them…many many blessings for the three of you…for now you have become a family. Much love, Michael Red Crow Mulholland
Very sweet puppy! Have you seen this?

oops, I just realized your puppy is a french bulldog, not a pug!
OOHHHH-KAY….there are so many adjectives I could use to describe Frankie based on the pics alone: hilarious, lovey-dovey, clueless, cute, amazing, and adorable!
Frankie is amazingly adorable, cluelessly cute, and luckily loved! Congrats again. I have a pug and enjoyed the link above. 🙂
Are you kidding? Puppies are always worth the hype! Frank is such a cutie, I hope he is settling in okay and he isn’t keeping you up too much at night.
Brian and I are oohing and ahhing over these pics. “Oh is that a french bulldog?? He’s as cute as shit.” -BB
He will give you so much love and gratitude, over the years, that the messes he makes now will be a distant blur, in short order.
❤
The last photo is my favorite. His tongue!
Nice one, Kate. Life without dogs just ain’t life!
He’s finally with you! He’s a doll! Absolutely gorgeous puppy! Congratulations!
That Belly – Great Captures!
