My sweet friend and fellow blogger Loni passed along this blog challenge- share 7 unknown facts about yourself on your blog. Why the number 7? I have no idea. I feel like I have shared so much about myself already that I can’t imagine finding 7 new things but here goes…
1. I despise stuffy rooms. They make me feel claustrophobic and anxious. Totally normal right?
2. I only drink cold water. I need lots and lots and lots of ice in my water. I find luke warm water just plain offensive.
3. Brian says I sound like a baby dinosaur when I wake up in the morning. Most mornings he asks me…”Do you want me to make you a cup of coffee baby dinosaur?” You know how couples start to think these little games are cute? Well, I guess we think it’s cute. But, as I typed it I realized it’s not so cute.
4. I went to a Tony Robbins seminar when I was in my early twenties. I even walked on hot coals! I still have my “I walked on fire” t-shirt and everything. Preeeeeety proud of that.
5. I could watch Annie Hall, When Harry Met Sally and Something’s Gotta Give over and over again and always get a laugh
6. I have four tattoos but only like one of them (the legal age for tattoos should really be up’d to 25)
7. I have a bit of a tortilla chip and guacamole addiction. It’s bad
I’d love to hear 7 random facts about you guys! Comment below…
I found this very interesting, and wanted to give it a shot. 7 unknown facts about me, humm???
1. I sleep laying on my stomach
2. I love ICE, and could probably munch on a
Tray of ice, all day!! ( Sebastian my son just picked up the habit.)
3. I love to dance but then again everyone knows this about me!
4. I have two middle names. What are they; Aura Margarita
5. I dislike, or more like I have a strong aversion to all condiments, I mean all: catchup, mustard, mayo, relish..
6. I was once in the airforce ROTC
7. And last, I cover my eyes or squint my eyes during a scary movie. Can’t watch them..
Seven… I will have to think about that a bit… As far as the tattoo thing… Someone ask me if I had any tattoos and when I said no they ask why not… My reply was… “I have made many many fashion choices over my life time and I’m soooo very thankful NONE WERE PERMANENT!!!”
This is always fun.
1. My first job was as a laborer.
2. Since I’m a southern girl, I have to have ice in everything, so I’m talking milk. Ice in my milk, ice in my beer, ice in my V8, and there better be lots of crushed ice in the smoothie or I won’t drink it. A few years ago I started putting ice in my cereal. The milk’s just not cold enough without it.
3. If I could drive any car in the world, and money was no object, I’d drive a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado convertible, candy-apple red, with a butter cream all-leather interior.
4. I love mayo. A few years ago, I said this out loud at a ladies luncheon in Raleigh NC. One woman I didn’t know replied in a monotone, without even the tiniest drop of emotion, “Everything is better with mayonnaise.”
5. For a few years when I was a publishing executive, I was a card-carrying Emergency Medical Technician and proud of it.
6. Where I grew up, people eat Velveeta cheese. I still like it, but I don’t eat it anymore. It’s the salt lick for people.
7. I can sing the Hawaiian Wedding Song in Hawaiian.
Hattie, I LOVED reading these!! I love love love that you can sing a Hawaiian wedding song in Hawaiian! That’s so cool
#6 My God what a surprise!!!!! I AM STILL LOOKING FOR THE GUY WHO GAVE YOU THE FIRST ONE!!!!!
1. I have a change problem. As in, I hoard coins. It’s not that I like collecting them. I HATE using them because I am horrible at math and I get super stressed out at cash registers. Therefore I prefer handing over bills. Plus in the US you have to add in the tax so I never know how much my purchase actually costs until it gets scanned at the register. So I end up with piles of change all over my room.
2. I speak three languages.
3. I’m about to leap into the unknown again–moving back home across the Atlantic to NY and job search!
4. My favorite city in the US (so far) is Boston.
5. I have never been to Florida (this surprises a lot of Americans, most people act like it’s a crime my parents never took me to Disneyworld. It’s okay, I don’t feel like I missed out on much)
6. I don’t have any tattoos and not so sure I would ever get one. If I ever do want one, I will make myself wait two years to make sure I really want it.
7. I’m turning 25 next year and I may or may not want to go sky diving to celebrate (already been paragliding so maybe I will be brave enough to literally take the plunge?).
Amélie, you crack me up!! Your whole coin situation gave me quite a laugh! Thanks for sharing!
a woman with facial hair…..somehow you made it work…..
HA. Why thank you!
not many ….if any…..could have pulled that off….
