Happy Friday everyone!

We are in Palm Springs to celebrate my 30th birthday! Yipee!! Over the next few days I will be posting letters that my close friends and family wrote to me for my birthday! I’m having Brian post them for me so I will be reading them for the first time along with all of you guys- hopefully they only share very good things about me. HA.

Hope you all have a beautiful weekend!

Happy birthday! The countdown is complete! Thanks for taking us along on this journey to 30 with you… It’s been inspiring, to say the least. 🙂 Now, what’s next? You can’t just leave us stranded! 😉

Happy Happy Birthday! It’s been an exciting year leading up to this milestone. My first reaction was how time passes so quickly; not just the last 365 days but when I first met you. Do you remember? I do. Your Uncle Sean and I came out to LA and stayed with Mark & Pamela up in the hills. All was well until I mistakingly ventured into the pool. Suddenly you and your friends descended on me and starting dunking me. I thought cute girl but what a brat. . Your Uncle Sean sat passively in a chase lounge leaving me to defend for myself. When your father mentioned that he had an alarm set to go off when-if you tried to sneak out My immediate reaction was “smart move”!

But over the years I have had the immense pleasure and pride watching you bloom into one of the most beautiful, passionate, daring women. One of the many wonderful things about you is your chutzpah. And I mean that in the most positive of terms. Your chutzpah is elegantly packaged with grace, love, deep passion and a willingness to take life by the fullest. There is no “could have, should have, would have”. You set your sights on the goal and put your foot across the starting line without looking back. I can’t tell you how much I love that and deplore the opposite. You well embody the spirit that life is not a dress rehearsal and you’re going to live it.

Will this be the end of your blog but the beginning of a new chapter? I hope so. There were so many days when reading your blog changed my sour mood and left me with an ear to ear smile and a very warm laugh. Thank you!

One of the Mcclafferty’s asked when I’ll be visiting LA again. I said when Kate gets married. Not to put pressure on you an but I’d like to book an airline ticket!

Be well, enjoy this very special day and continue to make all of our lives better by your presence.

    Much Love
Your Uncle Kevin (does that sound wired?)

      Uncle Kevin,
Apparently Kate and her devious little friends figured out the alarm system about a week after you and Sean escaped
California. Of course I didn’t know it for another 2 years!!!!!! I do recall having to resuscitate you after that pool party. So glad you made it!!!!
