I’m loving this note from the Universe I got yesterday…
…..
Plan the celebration now, Kate. Sweep the floor. Clean the slate. Pick a date.
Window shop, buy a few things, go out on a limb.
Rearrange the furniture, pick some flowers, take some time off.
No, no, Kate. Not necessarily because the tipping point has been reached… but because this is how you reach it.
How’s today looking?
The Universe

Loving it and life. Very inspiring!
I love tut. Mike Dooley is someone I admire a lot. Love your post. Happy travels.
I feel the same exact way about Mike Dooley:)
Following that kind of advice from my father (who passed away at 39) I’ve gone from living in a small, midwest town with a population of 1800, to traveling the world more than 2 doz times, designing IC’s for satellites, building a company with design and mfg in the U.S., Europe and Asia, helping the Russian’s sell solid rocket fuel to NASA when they needed cash after the fall of their empire, and now, playing guitar poorly and loving it.
In between, and most importantly, I had three of the most wonderful children a parent could be lucky to know.
Along the way, there has been parachuting, hang-gliding, rock-climbing, white-water rafting and a stint in the Marines.
Had I not packed all that in when I had the chance, after I had my strokes and a small heart-attack, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity. It would have been too late.
I love this series of articles showing you out there taking charge of your life.
It isn’t just a cliche, you really do have to strike while the iron is hot.
Richard your comment was so inspiring. It also made me tear a bit- so moving. So very true that we need to “strike while the iron is hot”- life is short as they say. Thank you thank you thank you for words.
