I am not quite sure how/if I am going to survive the next few days. There is simply too much to do!! Prepping to leave town for three weeks is no joke, especially when it involves a road trip that is also a work trip- the fucking checklist is impossibly long (pardon my French but I can’t help myself).
It also happens to luckily, (adjust your sarcasm radar) be Passover and Easter weekend!! Yipeee! Oh, and I also have three birthdays to celebrate and a going away party to attend. The going away party is more of a girls night to say good-bye to Rachel and me and to my friend, Jen, who is off to the Philippines to volunteer for 6 months…yeah, she wins, her checklist is probably way bigger than mine.
So I was thinking that maybe over the next four days I will just post pictures from everything…doesn’t that sound fun? Then you can be in on all the chaos with me!
Tomorrow’s pics will involve the 365 til 30 shoot and the girls’ night with cocktails and Mexican food!!
Hope you all have a beautiful weekend!
My checklist is making my ability to sleep really really hard….can I help you with yours? 🙂
Oh no I hate that! Let’s just drink margaritas together and do none of the things on our lists! Xx
Hey blog girl. You will rock it with big smiles and have a blast. You would not have it any other way. Memories away:)
Thank you Barbara! I always appreciate your words:)
I’m starting to feel the road trip prep stress myself. We are still a big seven weeks out til we leave for three weeks, but I’m swamped at both the office and business which means it’ll be just a few days before I know it. On our past trips I’ve learned that regardless what you forget to pack or do once you’re on the road you don’t really care! ha ha! We always forget something completely obvious (and often on our list) but that’s what stores are for, and the stuff that doesn’t get done seems to lack importance pretty quickly 🙂
I can’t wait to follow along on you & Rachel’s adventure!!! Are either of you on instagram? I’d love to see the pics. It’s my absolute favorite way of instantly documenting our travels with my family & friends.
Good luck & enjoy the pre-trip madness!!!
Sarah, your words brought me such peace!!!! Thank you!! I know you’re right and that once we are on the road none of this stress will even matter. I can’t wait to bring you on our journey and then be able to go on yours! Yes we are both on Instagram! I just signed up so there is not much to see yet but I plan to fill it with pics on the road trip!
