Welcome to the craziest place in the world…my head! This week has been a bit insane with work, road trip planning, writing, freelance jobs and life. To top it all off tonight is also Brian’s first photography show…ever!!! I’m literally dying with excitement! As corny as this may sound, it’s such a joy to see the person you love so happy and fulfilled.
Yesterday afternoon we went to the space to hang the show with the co-exhibitor and fellow photographer, Manuk Aret…oh and my mom and Irv! Thank God my mom and Irv came to assist because I am not much help with a hammer (which is where Irv came in) nor do I have a strong opinion on the position of photos (which is where my interior designer mom came in handy). I instead sat on the ground, watched them work while ooooh-ing and ahhh-ing. I am very good at ooooooh-ing and ahhhh-ing.
Guess what is happening tonight that is also a first???? Our parents are meeting for the first time! So now I am not just worried about running out of wine, Brian being happy, my grandmother having a chair and a cheese plate- I am also worried about our parents meeting. Why, I don’t know! It’s just new I guess. I am really good at making something out of nothing though so I am sure everything is going to go smoothly!!
