ROAD TRIP INSPIRATION PHOTOS: TUCSON, AZ
(images via my pinterest account aka my insane obsession )
I have a confession…I’m falling in love with Tucson…through pictures! The colors…the dustballs…the old churches…the idea of wearing a cowboy hat!
Maybe Rachel and I should dress in theme for every city we visit on our road trip? Just saying.
Have any of you guys been to Tucson? Do you have any favorite restaurants, coffee shops, stores, bars, hotels, activities or anything else to share with us??
We were just in Tuscon during a road trip over the holidays. We happened to come across Tuscon Tamale Company when searching for a quick lunch. Oh my goodness… amazing! I normally feel like tamales can be too heavy and these are light and filled with all sorts of creative goodies. We totally brought a few bags of frozen ones home in the cooler and now I’m considering ordering more since they ship! Anyways, I just looked and they have a website: http://www.tucsontamalecompany.com/ Enjoy!
Sarah, this is exactly the kind of stuff I want to know about!! I am a fan of a good tamale so this sounds delish:) Thank you for sharing!
I have family there. I would go every summer. 🙂 I recommend these lemonade slushy things called: eegees. …and thats about it! Perhaps as an adult, there are more things to appreciate now! I spent most of my time playing with my cousins in the pool, at the waterpark and on the roof watching the sun set (which we consistently got in trouble for). 🙂 I appreciated the beautiful colors of the sky back then… imagine how exquisite they are to get the attention of a 10 year old!
I love Tucson. I lived there as a teenager and have a lot of great memories. Have you visited the DeGracia Studio?
I have actually never been to Tucson! So I am excited to go next month. Should I put the DeGracia studio on my list of stops??
If you’re just passing through, it may be out of the way. Worth a stop if you happen to pass by it though.
WOW great photos
