SNAPSHOTS
These are snapshots from a bittersweet dinner last night. One of my nearest and dearest friends Jen (the one in the cute red dress) has been volunteering in Haiti, building schools for the last two months. She left in June and was originally only going to be in Haiti for a month…then it turned into two months and now she’s going to follow her heart and stay there indefinitely. So she decided to fly back to LA for 5 days to pack up her apartment and life and continue on her adventure. Her mom held a little goodbye dinner for her and it was lovely. It was a night filled with laughter, joy, good food and wine. While I am sad to see her go, I couldn’t be more proud or more inspired by her.
