PROGRESS : LEARNING FRENCH

Progress! Progress! I signed up for French class! On September 17th I will begin my journey as a French language student. I have to be honest about something. Every time I make a small step towards accomplishing my goals for the year I get a silly little smile on my face. I have wanted to speak French for as long as I can remember and the fact I actually signed up for French classes is such a gratifying feeling. I have surprised even myself. Oh and there is an extra bonus to this French language class (other than my silly little smile)…my mom has decided to take French classes with me! We were chatting the other day and she said the nicest thing to me…she was inspired by my blog. She said it made her want to be inspired by life as well and that she wanted to take French classes with me. That’s the funny thing about this project. I went into it thinking it would only bring me closer to myself but instead it has brought me closer to everyone around me. Brought me closer to my life.
